Hello,
We are working on the OS "Microsoft Windows XP professional version 2002 service pack 3". I m installing the flexnet license server on the same machine where my CCS Version is "CCS 6.1.0.00104" and this is "5 user floating license"
We are facing a problem while installing the license server on the PC.
We have followed the steps as given in the link location: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../License_Server_Administration_for_CCS
Here attaching some images for the intermediate steps
1: The image shows the final installation folder as per the installation guideline
2. After that, we opened the daemon server the tried to import the license file for the same.
3. But after importing license file we got the error as attached here
4. And this is the last screen where it shows that "tidspssw.exe" is not started.
5. As it is not started we are not able to go ahead with the licensing the CCS software.
From local support from TI person we received the support that "Another cause of this that we have seen in the forums is that the vendor daemon (tidspssw) is already running. They could check task manager and kill it and then restart the administration webpage."..
So in this regards we have also checked whether "Vender daemon (tidspssw)" is running in background or not.. but in taskmanager it shows that it is not working ..!
Even Windows DEP is also enabled in system setting..!
Kindly looking forward your support in this regards as we are distributor or the CCS in thousands of colleges in india and each time we may have to have such problems while licensing the CCS.
