CCSv6: not able to start CCS with existing workspace after closing a non-responding CCS

Hello,

For some reason CCS has recently stop responding several times for me.  After closing CCS, I am not able to start up CCS in the workspace I was previously using.

I end up having to restart the computer, which takes up a lot of time.

Is there any other way to fix this situation without restarting the computer?
