How to build Tiva C drivelib project

Hil All,

My purpose is to build the Tiva C driverlib peripheral library using CCS Cloud because I'M WORKING ON MAC OS X.

Unfortunately, I was not able to modify the compiler command line to add a -I directive. May I ask you how to do it, please?

Many thanks in advance for your support

Best regards from the French Riviera,

Yann

  • Yann,

One way to do this would be to add the -l option to the linker command file in the project.

Also I should be posting an updated beta for MacOS later today that will have TivaC support.

    Regards,
    John
  • Here is the link to the updated CCS MacOS beta

  • Hi John,

    Many thanks for your help.
    All works fine now.
Just another question: On MacOS, I saw that CCS has a temporary license and I need a code to activate my version of CCS. May I ask you how I can get this activation code please?

    Thanks again for your support,

    Have a nice day,

    Best Regards,

    Yann
  • Yann,

Right now we are still in beta so you can continue to use the temporary license. Our goal is to have a production quality release by the end of the year. At that time a normal CCS license will work if you have one already or they can be purchased.

If you are using the onboard ICDI probe that is on the Tiva development kits then you will be able to use a free license. Similarly when you get to the point where you create your own board if you use one of the entry level xds100 class probes then the free license will also work.

    Regards,
    John
