CCS sold licenses

Hi, I'm working on a Functional Safety project where CCS 5.1.1 is being used to program our uC, the RM48. The company that will certify our product requested a list stating information about who is using CCS. We are trying to qualify CCS as a proved-in-use tool.

Is this information available? I don't need detailed information about the companies, their names may be enough.

Unfortunately providing a list of our customers is not something that we are going to do. That would have major privacy issues.

We do however receive requests from people looking to do similar things. The compiler here is the important part. There is more information at this link on how the compiler is validated:

I can also tell you that there have been hundreds of thousands of downloads of CCS which includes the compiler.

There is also a qualification kit available: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Compiler_Qualification_Kit
However that is not cheap and may not be required in your case.
