Error when renaming files

Hi,

I've just created my first empty project with  6.1.1.00022 (on windows 7), the initial names for some files are somehow misleading and I want to give them proper names (empty_readme.txt and empty.c for example). I get the following error message: "The participant 'Header File Rename' caused an internal error and has been disable for this refactoring. See the error log for more details." and additional the information: "No context information available". The continue button is enabled and I can proceed. Afterwards, the project still builds.

    I see the same message when renaming a file within a project or renaming the project itself. This appears to have started with CCS 6.1.0 (CCS 6.0.1 does not report this message) so it might be something coming from Eclipse. I will file a bug report to see if something can be done to address this. As you noted though, you should be able to continue, and the rename does actually take effect.

    Update: This issue happens if a system or device header file is open in the CCS editor view while trying to rename a project. If all such header files are closed in the editor view, the error does not appear. Even in spite of the error message, you should still be able to continue, and the rename should take effect.
