XDS200 Causes PC to Hang during Boot

I wonder if the PC is confusing the JTAG as a boot device and hanging. This and a few other suggestions are mentioned in the thread below:

There are other threads around the internet with similar symptoms but different configurations such as the presence of a USB Hub, etc.

Unfortunately this is very uncommon, therefore such issues are rarely investigated.

Got the suggestion about confusing w. boot device and so we tried changing the BIOS settings to *only* boot from SATA. (we could not only lower the priority but also disable the boot modes). It didn't help.

Lucky for us - our local guru Amit Ashara was in the lab and captured some traces of USB traffic for analysis.. on a working machine and on a hanging machine.

On the machine that was hanging you could see the XDS200 stuck repeatedly responding to requests from the host with "STALL". It'll be interesting to see what comes out of the analysis.
