How to select output file format

Hello,

I am working on a TMX320F28377 with CCS 6.1 using compiler TI v6.4.6.

How can I select the output file format or what is the output file format with this compiler?

After compilation we are using a tool to modify the .out file for our flashing program.

The tool was made for an ELF format and right now the tool is saying the .out file is not ELF.

I would like to get information on the output format with this compiler and how to select it.
