Hi,

I am getting an error while trying to install software updates. The error is

*An error occured: Installation of the following components failed:

com.ti.ccstudio.shared.devicesupport.win32*

I tried uninstalling and again installing CCS 6.1.1, but still getting the same error. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Delete your current CCS installation directory. After that install CCS using offline installer.

I tried with re-installation with offline installer but now getting error:
Installation of the following component failed:

com.ti.cgt.msp430.4.4.win32
com.ti.dsflash.win32
com.ti.emulation.pack.win32

Hi,

I am not familiar with those. See, if you can install them through CCS App Center.

Thanks. I could now re-install it successfully. But now getting a build error for sensor tag. Tried searching the net, not sure how to resolve

error #10099-D: program will not fit into available memory. run placement with alignment fails for section "BSS_GROUP" size 0x1817 . Available memory ranges:

SRAM size: 0x2cff unused: 0x8cf max hole: 0x5b8
>> Compilation failure
error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "SensorTag.out" not built
