CCS 6.1.1 Tools->RTOS Analyzer menu is gone.

I am using CCS v6.1.1 and was going through the lab #4 for the TI RTOS Kernel Workshop.

I am using TI-RTOS for c6000 v2.0.1.23,

XDCtools v 3.31.0.24_core

CCS 6.1.1 does not even have the a menu item for Tools->RTOS Analyzer.

Do I have the wrong combination of versions?  Which do I need to complete Lab 4?

I am trying to get to the Execution Analysis Graph.

My setup is.

  • Hi,

This menu is populated irrespective of the installed RTSC version, therefore can you check the sections General IDE and Debugger of the page below?
    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Troubleshooting_CCSv6

If that does not help, I am afraid something corrupted your installation of CCS - more specifically the plugin that controls this menu. Being an intrinsic component of CCS, there is no possibility of reinstalling just this component and therefore I am afraid a reinstall will have to be performed.

    I apologize for the inconvenience,
    Rafael
  • It turns out that a power cycle of my computer did the trick and brought back the menu item. I am not sure what set of action got into this buggy condition, but a power cycle fixed it.

    Thanks
