Hi,

I am new to the TI environment. I have ordered an ezdsp. Its on its way. By the mean time i planned to setup the CCS environment so that i can start my as soon as it comes. So i downloaded CSL library and have some sample code. I tried to compile that , to make sure environment is proper. But it ended up in error.

Cannot build project. Referenced project 'C55XXCSL_LP' contains build-errors. CSL_USB_PollExample_Out CSL_USB_PollExample_Out Problems

Buildfile generation error occurred..
Cannot build project. Referenced project 'C55XXCSL_LP' contains build-errors.
Build stopped..

Am i missing something? Is my procedure for testing the TI environment correct?

Can you give us your complete kit details? ezdsp c5535? If so, did you visit this wiki link:

The kit is TMS320C5515 EZdsp USB Stick.

Hi,
I have checked with the links , i am not able to find anything very particular to what i want.
My questions may look very silly. This is my first time with TI. So kindly bare with it.
So here is what i want at this point of time.
What all things i may need to install along with ccs6 to set things up?
Should i install DSP/BIOS - i have no idea what this is.
Should i install XDS100? -
What else should i install and what they does ?

Hi,
The eZdsp5515 comes with an integrated XDS100 debug probe so you should install that.

As for what DSP/BIOS is, see: http://www.ti.com/tool/dspbios

Where did you get the CSL example you are trying to build?
