CSS App center is not working with sudo

hi,

i have installed CCS6.1.1 on my Ubuntu 14.04 64bit.

when i open CCS from the desktop icon the App center works fine although i can not update or download from there since i don't have permission.

so i open CCS from terminal with sudo permission (hw can i make the desktop link open with sudo permission?) and then the CCS App center is not working. i get the black sceen saying i have problem with the internet connection or something...

can someone help me with it?

Hi,

Does your network have a proxy server to access the internet? If so, running with sudo may have different settings when compared to the original - something that is discussed in the interesting article below:

In my experience I've had numerous issues with the way Ubuntu handles proxy servers, but unfortunately I couldn't yet have a definitive solution for all scenarios.
