Code composer version 3.3 installation hangs

I recently had to reinstall software on a new drive and I cannot get Code Composer Studio V3.3 to complete the install. It hangs towards the end of the installation and locks up my computer. Ctrl-Alt-Del does not work so I cannot access the task manager. My only recourse is to power off the PC. I believe it is stuck while trying to install the driver for the XDS560 emulator, as upon reboot Windows (XP SP3) reports new HW found, and if I try to install the driver it attempts to install the driver for the aforementioned emulator, and the system hangs exactly like it does during the install. I have looked at my TI_InstallLog.txt file and the last entry is

Action start 10:16:49: InstallFinalize.

I have attached my TI_InstallLog.txt file, . Any recommendations would be appreciated as I cannot work on one of my projects until this software is installed.

Dell Precision 690 QuadCore

Windows XP SP3 with all the latest security software installed

Cannot open the Log file. can you attach it again?

Since I am new at using the forum, just in case you cannot open the file again, these are the steps I took to attach the file. Selected "Options", clicked the "Add/Update" button, browsed to the file, selected it, and hit OK. It appeared to attach the file. Let me know if you can't get it and I will provide an e-mail so you can contact me directly.

It still cant be opened. It does show to be attached, but somehow it doesnt get opened/downloaded.

Sid,

I don't know what is up with the file attachment. However, the point is moot because I was able to install CCStudio V3.3 this morning. I used a custom install and found the option to disable the installation of the XDS560 emulator (I also turned off my anti-virus software but it probably didn't do anything except speed up the install process) and it worked. Thanks for the effort to help.
