Reading Id and Iq current values

I am using a custom board based on TI's Launchpad XL with F28027F processor. I have modified MotorWare lab 20 to use with my application and I need to watch the currents that the controller is using. I already added gAdcData.I.value to the Expressions window and I can now watch Ia, Ib, Ic in debug mode. However the fields of Id_A and Iq_A under gMotorVars in the Expressions always show 0 without updating. Is there any other way to watch Id and Iq?

Hi Nikhil,

Check whether these variables are structure defined. If so you'll have add it accordingly to watch window.
Do add the screenshot if possible.

How can I check if the variables are structure defined? Also the gMotorvars.Id_A and gMotorVars.Iq_A are already part of MotorWare, I mean I did not add these in my code. The motor is running so these values must be getting calculated correctly.

Can you check with the help of breakpoints before Id_A and Iq_A get updated? Check whether the program enters that section or not.
