Resource explorer not showing . How do I get it

I downloaded CCSV6 and enabled MSP-WARE to be included. When I had installed CCS6 I ran it and in the apps Center the MSP-ware said it was up to date. I installed the GUI Composer. I then went to view and there was nothing there. I have installed CCS6 in c:\ti\ccsv6\eclipse

What have I done wrong?

Thanks

Peter

  • Peter,

There is a thread that talks about a similar scenario and, despite it deals with an older release of CCS, it has some suggestions to see if you can bring it back.

    e2e.ti.com/.../300620

Also, you could try to manually point to its install, as mentioned in the post below: e2e.ti.com/.../1626737

Apart from this I am not really sure what happened. Perhaps there is some corrupt data in the Resource Explorer directory, which is usually located at: C:\Users\user\ti\.CCSResourceExplorer. I would try the following: close CCS, create a copy of this directory, delete the original, restart CCS, try to manually point to the MSPWare install as above.

    Hope this helps,
    Rafael
  • I found that when I removed all instances of MSPWare and also did not select Simple mode, then re-installed
    that all was ok.

    Thanks for the suggestions
