In some (apparently older) documentation, I see discussion of the ability to configure peripherals via the Chip Support Library using a graphical interface integrated with the DSP/BIOS configuration tool. For example SPRU420D section 2.2. Is this a feature that was removed, or is there some way to get CSL integrated with the current Configuration Tool that I am missing? I am using C55xx CSL 3.04 with CCS 5.5, DSP/BIOS 5.42 and Configuration Tool 5.00.

    Hi,

    CSL was removed from DSP/BIOS configuration tool since release 4.90 and unfortunately there is no way to add it back to the graphical configuration tool used by subsequent releases.

    A few products that configure peripherals via a GUI are Grace (for selected MSP430 devices), HalCoGen (for Cortex R devices) and more recently the full fledged TI-RTOS for some device families.
