C2000 code generation tool version

On website "http://software-dl.ti.com/codegen/non-esd/downloads/download.htm#C2000", it lists serveral CGT versions as shown below:

What's the difference between those versions? My CCS version is 6.0.1. The CGT version is updated to 6.2.11 by checking software update. Why not 6.4.x?

If the menu selection Help | Check for Updates does not show you the compiler version numbers you expect, then try Help | Install New Software. This wiki article explains the differences between those methods.

The 6.0.x, 6.2.x, and 6.4.x versions of the compiler are all separate CCS features. You can have all three installed at the same time for different projects.
