I have been "experimenting" with CCS v6.1.1.00022 connecting to a Launchpad MS-EXP430G2, programming an MSP430G2211 controller using Windows.
I recently thought I would install the GUI Composer to shed some light on what is going on inside the controller but have run into some trouble which I hope someone can help me with.
I installed GUI Composer via the CCS App Center by ticking the box and clicking install. All seemed to go well and I was asked to restart CCS which I duly did.
However, I do not see GUI Compser in the View menu .
I have searched high and low but cannot find out what I am doing wrong. Any advice appreciated.

That should be all that is required to make GUI Composer available from the View menu.
Are you, by any chance, using the "CCS Simple" perspective ? (the perspectives will be displayed in the top right corner of the CCS workbench).
I have noticed that GUI Composer is not listed in the View menu in the CCS Simple perspective. If you are using CCS Simple, can you switch to CCS Edit and see if it appears?
