print variable value in console

Simple question : I am using CCS and sensortag2650. I need to view the value of a variable (from the sensor). Real time is preferred.

How do we do it , like printf ? Could you please paste the code to the answer ? Thanks. Further, there seems no console window in the CCS cloud.

PS: I am trying CCS Cloud. If this is easier in CCS desktop version, it is OK. I can switch to desktop version.

I tried to put breakpoints, but oddly it doesn't pause on the breakpoint.
If we connect the sensortag with App, it pause on the breakpoint but sensor value does not appear in the "watch window"

Further, how to watch a variable value on the CCS Desktop version ? We only find "Add watch expression" but did not find "add variable expression". Thanks a lot. -- Any tutorial regarding CCS ?
