Linux PC 3.19.0-25-generic #26~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 24 21:16:20 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Version of CCS:

CCS6.1.1.00022_linux

CCS is installed by instruction: processors.wiki.ti.com

But when i try to start ccs in terminal:

/home/master/ti/ccsv6/eclipse/ccstudio

CCS not started and terminal shows me: error segmentation

Please, help me.

  • Roman,

Unfortunately I don't recall CCS causing a segmentation fault during startup, therefore I can only speculate that somehow the CCS executable or one of its components has become corrupt. Perhaps a pre-existing Java runtime may also be causing interference with the normal operation of CCS (although this would be very unusual).

Unfortunately I can't imagine any other scenario where this issue could be triggered, but I will keep looking and report back to this thread if I find something. Hopefully other developers may also reply and share their experience.

    I apologize for the inconvenience,
    Rafael
