I have tried following the installation instructions using both CCS6.1.2.00014_linux.tar.gz and CCS6.1.2.00014_web_linux.tar.gz on my 64 bit Linux Mint 16 machine. When running ccs_setup_6.1.2.00014.bin after performing the chmod +x on it, the root terminal window just sits there for maybe 5 seconds then returns to the terminal prompt. It doesn't appear to do anything. Untarring the off-line installer CCS6.1.2.00014_linux.tar.gz file, generates many files and folders but I assume I still need to run the ccs_setup_6.1.2.00014.bin file which also does nothing.
