CCS V6.1.1 update problem

Hello,

I'm having a persistent problem while updating my CCS (Version: 6.1.1.00022)

During the update procedure I made sure that antivirus was not running and firewall was completely disabled. I have tried to update during several days. Since the update didn't work, I uninstalled it, reinstalled and tried to update it again. Didn't work. Then, I installed it on another computer and the error still occurs. What could be happening?

Remark: I have already followed the procedures described at:  Troubleshooting CCSv6

  • Unfortunately, you have already tried my best suggestion ...

The experts on CCS Update are not in today.  In the worst case, they will not be back until next week.

    Thanks and regards,

    -George

  • Otavio,

Given the error happens in every single install and computer in your site, I would be strongly suspicious of something bad either on the system you have (perhaps a third party application installed that is common to all hosts) or on the network connection itself (perhaps a site-wide firewall blocking certain addresses or scripts).

I am discarding a glitch on our servers given that I was able to update from my home today - I am out on vacation, but fortunately have a copy of CCS in my Windows 10 64 bits (but mine is configured for Portuguese, which if anything would only potentially make things worse). I am also using Eset's NOD32 Antivirus and the Windows standard firewall (both are fully enabled).

As George said, most update/install experts are out during this time of the year, but in the meantime please double check the suggestions above.

    Hope this helps,
    Rafael
  • Otavio,

One additional detail: perhaps you may want to try installing CCSv6.1.2 instead, which was released just a few days ago.

  • Rafael,

I will check my network infrastructure again for any possible restriction that is not allowing me to get the desired packages. I don't think the problem is on my system, because as I said earlier, I have tried to install and update it on another computer, but connected on the same network. If it doesn't work I going to try to update the CCS another network. In the last case I going to try the new CCS v6.1.2 as yourself suggested.

For now, I appreciate the suggestions and so I have some news I come back here.

    Enjoy your vacation.

    Regards,

  • Hello,

Today, I tried to update my CCS V6.1.1 on another network and I got success! Could my ip blocked on TI servers? Is there any solution?

    Thanks in advance.
