Modify Target Configuration for GUI Composer (InstaSPIN_UNIVERSAL) F28027F

Hello Chris, Trey, Gautam, and all!

After sometimes, here I am again :)

I have question about modifying Target Configuration for GUI Composer (InstaSPIN_UNIVERSAL.exe).

My board is using F28027F. And to connect with the debugger (XDS100v2), I need to change The JTAG TCLK Frequency to be slower. Please see this screenshot below. If not, the Test connection will be failed.

For InstaSPIN_UNIVERSAL.exe, I can edit .appsettings but it will not help. There is no setting for this JTAG TCLK Frequency.

Actually is it possible to be done or not?

I think I cannot connect my board to InstaSPIN_UNIVERSAL GUI because of this reason so that's why I want to modify this configuration for the GUI (if it is really possible).

"There isn’t a way of changing this setting through .appsettings. However, she could make the changes in CCS Desktop setup progra, save and test. Then find the working .ccxml file and copy it into the InstaSpin app that she is trying to run and rename it to “appConfig.ccxml”. Presence of ccxml file should be automatically detected and override settings in .appsettings file. "

"By default there isn’t a .ccxml file included, the default emulator/device comes from .appsettings. I am suggesting you copy a .ccxml file it into universtal_GUI app folder, thus overriding .appsettings"

I am sorry that I can't understand the suggestions.

Which folder that I need to focus on?

By copying .ccxml to the suggested folder, the universal gui will connect to this .ccxml instead of .appsettings, is it correct?

looks like you figured out that you need to put the .ccxml file inside the webapps\APPNAME\ folder.
