CCS Set Target Configuration file to Active/Default Permanently

Is the ccxml file present in your project or you want to use a common ccxml file?

The file is present on my project.

And I use the same target configuration file for all my projects since I use the same processor.

Can you please send a snapshot of the project folder in CCS which shows the ccxml file?

So I deleted the ccxml file from my project and in the Target Configurations, selected the ccmxl to be linked to my specific project. Then I made the linked ccmxl as both Active/Default. After restarting CCS it always picks up the linked when the debug session is launched.

Correct. It works after restarting CSS. But it does not work after downloading the repository/project to a new computer (or when creating a new workspace with the same project). I just thought there was a way (an option) that allows me to link the config file to a project once, and this option will reain not only when restarting CCS, but also when creating a new workspace, or when I download the repository/project to a different computer

I guess. I could not find a way to do it. Thanks anyway. If I can find a way to modify the .project or something similar, then I'll post it here.

Check section 2.1.1 of the page below:

The Default target configuration is fixed to the workspace but the Active is fixed to the project. Therefore, assigning a target configuration to the project (either by copying or linking) and checking it out should be properly "portable" across workspaces.

If you want to keep the target configuration fully portable across PCs, the target configuration should be copied to the project (some PCs may not have the linked destination of the target configuration).
