Dear Support Team,

I try to debug via jtag simple "Hello world" app for linux but I'm getting error!

I use ccs 5.5 and TI Mistral board. I load linux from sd-card too.

Hello,
I see that you are using a startup GEL file with your target configuration. This is usually not recommended when trying to connect and debug a target running embedded linux. Can you remove it from your target configuration and try again?

Hi Ki,
I clear "initialization script" string. But when I run debug mode, debugger is not stopping on my breakpoint(line 14), although it is runned!

I've relaunched ccs and now I'm getting previous error:

In your first post, you mention that you are trying to load a "hello world" linux app. Just to confirm, that means that you want to run a linux app for the embedded linux OS running on the target, correct? If so, you do not want to do a CCS JTAG debug session, but a Eclipse Linux debug session.

Yes!
But my final goal is debug loaded module for linux. Now I just want to try to debug simple app via jtag, but I dont know how to do it right!
I can debug this app via gdb and eclipse, but I would like to use jtag and ccs!

If you wish to get familiar with simple CCS JTAG debugging and debug a simple CCS program without any Linux, then configure your target to NOT boot Linux from the SD card but (this is specific to your board, I am not familiar on how to do this) and simply start a project-less debug session and manually connect and load the program:

Note that if you did not build your program with a linker command file, then you may have data verification errors (memory mismatch). What is a linker command file?

Note that the latter link has a hands-on section for BeagleBone. Since you have a different target, you will not be able to do the hands-on part, but just going through the material is helpful in understanding how it all works.
