MSP430 Code Generation Tool

Hello,


Texas Instruments has recently proposed an update for the MSP430 Code Generation tool (v3.2.2 to v3.2.3) .

This update is downloaded and installed only when using Code Composer Studio...

Before I have downloaded the new release of Code Composer Studio (v4.1.2). In this release the version of MSP430 Code Generation Tool is 3.2.2 .

Is there another way to install this update of Code Generation Tool without running Code Composer Studio ?

    Johan,

    Is your issue that you need to get the new compiler onto a machine that is not running CCS?  If so you could download it from a machine that has CCS and just copy the resulting installation folder.  The compiler is not dependent on anything outside of its installation directory.

    The update tool is dependent on CCS.
