I have been very impressed with the "Ident Guide" plug-in for Eclipse. It adds vertical lines on indented columns, much the same as is found in Notepad++. After doing some searching on the net about how to plug it in, I put the .jar file into ...ccsv6\eclipse\dropins and then enabled it by going to Window-->Preferences-->General-->Editors-->Text Editors-->Indent Guide-->Enable the indent guide.
If it does not immediately give you vertical lines, Disable then Enable the indent guide. It did not immediately show up on my CCS, but when it did show, I was very satisfied!
