Request for TI Cloud tools training

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LAUNCHXL-F28069M, EK-TM4C1294XL, CONTROLSUITE

Hello everyone

Recently I found TI Cloud tools and it was excited me. I want to know is there any training resource for that? My second question is about supported devices. When I click on the link below, I see "LAUNCHXL-F28069M" is fully supported with TI cloud tools, but I don't know how to add it to my IDE.

  • Hossein,

After you login to the TI Cloud Tools, if you go to the "Getting Started" tab, there is a lot of great information there to help you get started, including some tutorial videos. Hope this helps!

  • Thanks AartiG

I checked the "getting started" tutorial and videos you mentioned. I found them very useful and my EK-TM4C1294XL works great. But for starting some control application I need to use C2000 series and specifically the "LAUNCHXL-F28069M". Because I am in first steps, I want to check the hardware and software with cheap options like TI Cloud Tools. Is there any other alternative?

That LaunchPad is supported with TI Cloud Tools. I would suggest starting with one of the examples from ControlSuite, which you can import from Resource Explorer.

  • Thanks AartiG for quick reply.

I checked TI cloud tools resource explorer (from http://dev.ti.com/tirex/#/) and didn't find my answer. But when I check CCS Desktop tools and its resource explorer that you suggested, finally I got what you were trying to tell me. I also found Power suite and how to connect it to my launchpad. I think from know it's just matter of time to start learning.

Once again thanks for your support.
