Autocomplete not working

Hi,

I am using CCSv6.1.2. Autocomplete doesn't work any more for one c file from my project. I tried to copy the code from the file to a new file, create a new project, and make a new workspace. These don't help.

Does anybody experience this?

Regards,

  • Hi Robert,
Try rebuilding the index. See slide 37 of the below presentation:

    Thanks

  • Hi there,

Auto complete is not working on my CCS either.  I checked the indexer setup and it is enabled and the options look right. Interestingly enough, I remember a problem that CCSv6 had with the indexer consisting in the whole IDE getting locked forever (only solution been killing the process) if the indexer was working and one tried to close the project at the same time.

I am currently using CCS v7.1.0.00015 running natively over 64-bit Kubuntu v16.10.

I would appreciate any hint that may help to bring this good friend back.

  • Yesterday (03/27/17) there was a CCS update for Linux. The version now is 7.1.0.00016. Unfortunately, the problem has not being resolved though. I would like to know from TI if this is a known issue for this version. Thanks.

  • This is not a known issue to us. I am using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 64-bit and it seems to work fine. I will try it with some other test cases however. Does this issue occur with only some projects or does it happen all the time for any project?
