OMAP L138 LCDK Target Configuration

Greetings,

I have recently been given an OMAPL138 LCDK and am trying to get it setup to work with CCS 6.1 under Windows10. To this point I have been unable to get it recognized in Target Configurations. I have been able to watch the default linux load from the supplied SD card via TerraTerm so the board is live. I am trying to connect it to CCS with a SpectrumDigital XDS510USB emulator.

When I try to set up a new target configuration and select the XDS510USB I can see the LCDKC6748 listed, but I don't see the LCDKOMAPL138. How can I get CCS to add my board?

Chris,

I can able to see both LCDKC6748 and LCDKOMAPL138 when i select the XDS510USB emulator. Please find the snapshot below.

Are you trying something different ?

I am trying to make it work just as you are showing here. I am just not seeing the LCDKOMAPL138, only the LCDKC6748. Should the OMAP auto-populate or is there some add-on package I should have installed to make it available? I'v installed both the MCSDK and the TIRTOS.

Hi,

Looking at your screenshot it seems you did not install support for OMAPL devices. Check section 3.1 of the page below to learn how to add a new device support.

In your particular case you will have to select Media Processors --> OMAPL/Integra Device Support.

That was exactly the problem. I thought we pulled in everything we needed on setup but we missed that one.
