I'm having some difficulty getting started with this new development kit. I started with CCS 6.1.0 install and upgraded to CCS 6.1.1 when I received the kit (I wanted to bring everything current). I was able to load the example project for the Sensored PMSM project from the Design Drive Development kit directory. I recompiled successfully. When I clicked the debug icon I got an error:
IcePick_c_0: Error connecting to target:(Error -600 @0x0). A required dynamic library can not be located. Library not in search path. Error message also listed coud not connect to target XDS100v2 USB debugger. During both installs I turned off the antivirus when promted. It sounded like a software issue rather than hardware.
So I uninstalled CCS 6.1.0 and 6.1.1 and downloaded and installed CCS 6.1.2, turning off antivirus when prompted; After the install I was prompted with more updates including C2000 compiler and other relevant components. During the update I received an error message similar to the following:
"An error occurred while collecting items to be installed. Session contest was: profile=epp.package.cpp collect.operand,_ action=phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.pto.engine.phases.
No repository found containing ... (four lines repeated)."
The install could not be completed so it looks like I took a step backwards.
The last install was done remotely. When I get back in the office I'll try one more fresh install.
Let me know if you have come across this before or if you have any ideas.
