Installing CCSv5.2.0.00069 and CCSv5.5.0.00077 at the same time

We are trying to determine if it is possible to install and use CCSv5.2.0.00069 and CCSv5.5.0.00077 on the same computer or if we can expect problems with this.  We will definitely install in two separate directory paths if we do this.  I have seen several older posts about installing two difference versions of CCS on the same computer, but none of those address the question for the exact versions of CCS that we're dealing with. Please advise on any information about this specific combination of versions.

    Hi Ruben,

    There is no issue at all with having those versions co-exist on the same computer, as long as they are installed in separate root directories. Also make sure that each version uses their own separate workspace folder (don't share the same workspace folder between versions)

    Regarding older posts about issues with installing multple CCS versions on the same computer, those were likely all regarding CCSv3 and earlier. Versions of CCS prior to v4 used the windows registry and there were cases where registry entries got messed up or overwritten. When we went to the Eclipse based version starting with CCSv4, the registry is no longer used and those issues went away.

    I've got one computer with a ton of different versions and no issues!
