Hi,

I am using CCS6.1.1 with TM4C1294kncpdt processor.

getting below error.. please give solution...

tm4c1294kcpdt.cmd", line 52: error #10099-D: program will not fit into available memory. run placement with alignment fails for section ".bss" size 0x3d778 . Available memory ranges:
SRAM size: 0x40000 unused: 0x3fd90 max hole: 0x30000
error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "TIVA_GPRS_Dialer.out" not built

One more thing i wanted to you is that,
Is that OK yo give Flash memory to .bss file instead SRAM.
Is it fine to make changes in .cmd file?

No, the .bss segment must be placed in SRAM since the .bss segment needs to be writable at run time.

OK. So, what is the solution to get over this problem. I already read that wiki article.
There is any way to consume the content in .bss file or any other option?

The project at the moment simply contains too much data to fit in SRAM, and without the project difficult to give any specific suggestion.

Can you post the complete project?

Look for global variables that could be const, and add the "const" keyword. Look for and remove unused global variables. Look for and remove unused fields in structs used for global variables. If you have global arrays, make sure they are no bigger than necessary.
