CCS v3.3 not starting with LANDesk antivirus

Hello,

Is anybody using CCS v3.3 on a PC running LANDesk antivirus? Since IT installed LANDesk on our machines, CCS freezes on the splashscreen, and the only thing I can do is closing it from the CCS Monitor icon. I have already marked cc_app as "trusted", but it doesn't make any difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Emiliano,

Try also making cc_setup.exe "trusted". cc_app.exe calls cc_setup.exe when it starts up.

Hi John,

Thanks for your help!

I have added cc_setup.exe to the trusted list, as well as the "children processes" of cc_app and cc_setup. Unfortunately, it hasn't made any difference, and CCS doesn't start yet.

If you temporarily disable LANdesk does CCS start ok?

Hi again,

Good point, I forgot to mention that I did try to disable all the LANDesk modules from services.met, but CCSv3.3 didn't start anyway.

Another thing I did was:

- uninstalling CCS

- deleting the CCStudio directory from the HD

- reinstalling it from scratch, without xds560 and CCS scripting (which I am not using)

This didn't make any difference either...
