My CCS6 Graph Issue (shown 0 value all the time)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

I just installed CCS Version: 6.1.2.00015 and tried to run an example project ( 2xPM_Sensorless_v1_1) from controlsuite. I got to the point that eveything was working except graph display of DlogCh1 and DlogCh2 variables. For some reasons that the display showed zero value as function of time even the watch window showed a non zero value. Please see snapshots below. The graph function was working with CCS4.2. Please advise.
Thanks

Could you please check if your issue could be related to this thread?

If that does not help resolve the issue, I would suggest starting a new post in the C2000 forum as the experts there are more familiar with this example and may have other suggestions.

  • AartiG,

Thank you for your response and suggestion!

I got rid of Crosshairs stuff by following the thread that you suggested. Unfortunately I am still having the same problem. I am wondering if CCS V6 is compatible with controlsuite.
  • They key point to note in the referenced thread is that the project should be built for a RAM configuration rather than Flash configuration. Did you make that change?

    CCSv6 is compatible with ControlSuite.

  • AartiG,

That was done in Flash.configuration. When I ran the program in RAM configuration, I got 20 errors. Please see the attachments. I did not do anything except commenting out the crosshairs related stuff as suggested in the thread. Please help! Thanks

  • I got the errors issue fixed by excluding of F28035_FLASH_2xPM_Sensorless.CMD from code gen. For some reasons both of FLASH and RAM CMD files were active and causing the errors problem.

@ AartiG, as what you pointed out that the DLOG worked with RAM configuration. I was able to get the graphs working after putting the target running in RAM mode and fixing another problem spotted by Manish from other thread

Thank you very much for all the helps!
