Hello, does anyone encountered any problem using the Math.h functions under CCS 6.0.1?

i've been trying to use pow() function but during runtime my code get stuck in the function.

i am using css 6.0.1.

what could cause this type of error.

i tried several other function from the math.h file but none of them work.

when pressing F3 on the function under the editor it directs me to the h file and not the source - could i have a linking problem?

I don't think this is an issue with Code Composer. The math functions are part of the runtime library. Is it possible the watchdog is timing out? Where does it get stuck?

What compiler version, runtime library (e.g. rts2800_fpu32.lib) and target are you using?

Also, it might be best to create a very simple project which has the issue, zip it up and attach it to this forum.

i narrowed the problem down a little bit.

as you suggest i tried to run the pow function using the wlan_station example project and it works!

my current project is based on the "http_client_demo" example, so i opened a new project based on that example and tried to run on lines 1273& 1274 a simple pow function (see the attached zipped project)

the code won't reach the line below. and when i try to pause the debugger i get "no source available".

arrr this is so annoying!

Hello,

The CC3200 doesn't have a floating point unit. I believe you should specify vfplib for floating point support in Build->arm compiler->Processer Options.
