CCSv6.1.1: Unable to generate Makefile project from existing code

Guru 20035 points

Hello,

A Makefile project is not generated after browsing for existing code (a main.cpp file) and then selecting "Finish" in the New Project dialog box shown below.

What is causing the Makefile project not to be generated?

Stephen

  • I accidentally posted this in the Compiler forum. Could someone at TI please move it to the CCS forum.
    Thanks,
    Stephen

Do you not see the project in the Project Explorer view after clicking "Finish"?
Is there a .cproject file generated in the folder specified for "Existing Code Location"?

I tried this with CCS 6.1.1 and a project was created as expected.

  • Ok, for some reason it works now.
    Thanks,
    Stephen
