using ccs with different emulator after free activate with xds100v2

Hello,

I've started using ccs5.5 with xds100v2, but I have troubles using it with dm365 (not sure why ?).

Anyhow, I wanted to use it now with another emulator, is it possible (I've started using ccs as free activate with xds100v2, so I'm not sure how to work now with another emulator).

Hi Ran,

As soon as you plug in a new debugger (other than XDS100), the free license would collapse and get converted to limited one. You can at max go for an evaluation license for 90-days which would give you unlimited access to CCS and its resources. After that you'll have to buy one copy.

Ran,

One additional detail: DM365 devices have ARM9 cores that require adaptive clocking. You can set this up in your target configuration and you will have a much more reliable connection. Check section 3.1 of the page below:

Thanks for the ideas.
I've tried the adaptive clock with slowest speed, but I still can't connect
I get these errors

IcePick_C_0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -154 @ 0x0) One of the FTDI driver functions used to write data returned bad status or an error.

This seems to be a USB problem. Check section 5.21 of the page below for details and proposed workarounds.
