Uniflash Installer error

It looks like you're unable to download files needed for installation. Please download the offline package, unzip the package retaining the directory structure, and try again.

I downloaded the offline version of the Uniflash installer but got this error when trying to install the program (see below)

It is strange that I'm getting problems when installing the program on my windows 10 machine but had no problems installing it on my windows 7

I also downloaded a older version of the uniflash but got an similar error (see below )

Hi Karl,

It looks like you may have a corrupted MS VC redistributable 2008 (32 bit). Could you please uninstall it (using programs and features) and try the installation again?

I uninstalled the redistributable 2008 but with no success, I' m still getting the same installation error. I have also tried to do a disk cleanup in order to eliminate any corrupted temp file errors but also with no success.

Is there anything else that I can try?

Hi Karl,

You're running Windows 7, what's the service pack? We require service pack 1 or higher.

Please post the logfile created (<installdir>/install_logs/MSVC_REDIST_2008.log) here.

I'd like you to run the executable on the command line in interactive mode and see what the errors are. I've attached it here with the extension .txt. Please change that back to exe and run it. Take snapshots of any errors. If it installs without any issues, please try the installation again.
