Cannnot create *.ppd (Dynamic Profile Information) file when processing Cache Layout Tool

Recentyly, I wanna promote the chace performance in C6678 and found a tutorial Program Cache Layout(http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Program_Cache_Layout). But I encountered a trouble when create *ppd file. In the turtorial add the macro "--gen_profile_info" when compiling project and run the simulation. After that we shoule find a pprofout.ppd file in my working directory while I cann't find that file after runing the simulation.

How can I solve this problem and create the *ppd file.

The .ppd file is created by executing an fwrite call. Does this simulation environment support C I/O functions such as fwrite? Perhaps one of the suggestions in this wiki article will be helpful.
