Import failed for project because meta-data cannot interpreted

I have another case of a project that cannot be imported to CCS 6.1.1

Hi Daniel,

This is a bug in CCS. I have opened a work-item to track this: https://jira.itg.ti.com/browse/CCDSK-2027. I will fix it for the upcoming CCS v6.2.0.

Until then, to work around this probelm:

Install the TMS470 v4.9.5 compiler, and register it with CCS on the Preferences > CCS > Build > Compilers page.
Restart CCS.
Import the project.
