Compiler error on Japanese Windows

Hi,

I encountered a problem when trying to build an application with CCS on a Japanese Windows XP.

A compiler error is generated saying that it cannot find a file:

>> Cannot Open Input icode File, No such file or directory : C:\\DOCUME~1\\饅\頭太郎\\LOCALS~1\\Temp\\036123, Aborting

Has anybody else seen this issue and if so, is there a possible fix for it?

What processor? What compiler version?

I've seen issues before related to Windows environment variables, specifically TEMP and TMP. Perhaps make sure they are both defined and do not contain any spaces.

If you're not on the latest compiler version I recommend updating.

Please try changing your TMP environment variable to something that contains nothing but standard ASCII characters, and let us know if that helps.

Hi,

Thanks for the directions. Changing the TEMP and TMP directories as suggested indeed solve the compiler error.

Apparently the restriction is also valid for the project path, otherwise linker error occurs.
