Changes made to a file in a sample project in workspace remain if sample project is imported to other workspace.

I have imported sample project and made changes to file "appBLE.cfg. If I import the same sample project into another workspace, file changes are still there. But i don't want that to happen. Any help in this regard will be helpful.

Hello,
I assume you are using the examples from the BLE Stack. In those examples, appBLE.cfg (like nearly all the files in the example projects) is linked to the project. What is a linked file? See; processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Projects_and_Build_Handbook_for_CCS

Hi ki,
I have read section "Adding or linking source files and folders to project" from "Projects and build handbook for CCS". As it says if changes made to file linked file e.g appBLE.cfg changes persists across projects. Is there a way to physically copy linked files.

What you can do is remove the link and the physically add the file to your project. Physically adding a file to the project will mean that the project has its own local copy of it.

Is it true that every link file has physical copy some where.

Yes. For a valid linked file, the physical file must exist and the link to it must be valid.
