CCSv6 licensing error

I have Windows 7-64 bit. I installed CCS6 (floating 1 user pack (F01)). When registering it shows the error FLEXnet Licensing error: -97,121.

CCS needs to work with and I still have a free license. Thanks for help.

Ivan,

I believe -97 means that the daemon is not running. Do you have the license server running on the same machine as CCS or another machine on the network?

On windows the TI daemon needs to be in the same directory as the lmadmin executable.
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../License_Server_Administration_for_CCS

Is this license just for your use or will it be shared by multiple users? If it is just for your use then a node locked license is easier to setup and I could help you exchange.

Thank you very much for your help. Very glad to add you as a friend. But I managed me install license server and configure a full license for CCS (retain for at least I learned). I tried to use it this way.

Great to hear that you have it setup. The floating licenses can be a pain to setup but they are very flexible in being able to be shared by a group of users.
