CCSv6 Will not Install

Could you please zip up the contents of $HOME/.installjammerinfo/ (note, there's a . in front of installjammerinfo) and post them here?

Were you installing as sudo or root? If so, please zip up the contents of /var/lib/installjammer/ and post them here.

I had to install as root because when I tried to install as sudo, it threw an error. I do not have an installjammer file at all I don't think.

As one can see from the log, the install failed due to a problem in package "com.ti.emulation.keystone2.linux".

For some reason I can't figure out, the user id "user" was being queried by this installation step. You can try running the command line "id user" on your host and check out the results. During the installation, it failed saying " unknown user id: 50015516" which is really strange. But this may give you a clue to what is on your host, which caused the install to fail, and I suggest you try probing in that direction.

I think your best bet is to install CCS without keystone and then install keystone on the command line by doing the following:
Download the file software-dl.ti.com/.../ti_emupack_keystone2_setup_1.1.4.0.bin
Install it from a terminal session using the following command line (as root if that's what you used to install CCS), using the same install directory as the install, e.g. if you selected /home/MA25974/ti as the install directory then your command line would be:

ti_emupack_keystone2_setup_1.1.4.0.bin --prefix "/home/MA25974/ti/ccsv6/ccs_base"
