Hi,

We have the IDE CCS3.3 (Platinum CD version) in which we have done several projects on the TMS320DM642 devices, and we would like to upgrade these projects to a version of CCS6.X in Windows 7 64-bit.
* What steps we need to follow to obtain a valid license of the IDE CCS6.X?
* If there is any cost, what would be the cost of this update CCS3.3 to CCS6.x to evaluate this?

If you still have active subscription with your CCS 3.3, then you can update to CCSv6 for free, else you will need to purchase a new license.

Hi,
we understand that the license is no longer active because it is renewed every 12 months and we purchase the last version 8 years ago, is correct this?
If so, what would be the cost of a new license for CCS6 with DM642?

Yes if it has been 8 years since renewal then there is no straight upgrade available.

The link Aarti provided has the pricing. I would suggest starting with downloading the latest CCSV6.1.3 image and trying it out using the evaluation license. The eval license is full featured (time limited) and you can see how the migration is going to go. Moving from CCSv3.3 to CCSv6 is a big step. Once you have figured things out then you can look at your purchase options. You can even use a free license with certain debug probes.
