Hi,

I use Code Composer 5.4 for building my project. I had installed a compiler 5.2.1 because I was importing an existing project from CCS 4 to CCS 5. The project was running perfectly for 3 years. Today I am not able to build my project. During the compilation I get the following error:

gmake: *** Access is denied.

.         STOP.

****Build finished ****

I uninstalled the compiler & re-installed but did not solve the problem.

How to solve this problem?

    I followed the thread e2e.ti.com/.../291917 & disabled my anti virus & the problem was solved.Is there any permanent solution to this? I don't want my anti virus to be disabled all the time. Is there a fix?

    Hello,
    Thanks for the update. Unfortunately some antivirus are very aggressive and it causes a conflict. We are always looking to improve using CCS with antivirus. Which vendor is your antivirus software from? Is it Kaspersky?

    Hi Ki,

    Its not Kaspersky; else I would have disabled only 1 of its features as told in the discussion thread.I didn't see that option in mine. I use 360 total security.
