Renaming and Duplicating Projects in CCS 6.1.3

Greetings:

Windows 10

CCS Version 6.1.3.00034

Can you please tell me how to rename and duplicate a project in 6.1.3. I was able to do this on previous versions but am unable to do so on this version (or have completely forgotten how). I found lots of discussion on previous versions but these don't seem applicable to 6.1.3.

Hi Dan,
I don't think the technique to do this has changed since previous versions. When you right-click on the project, options to 'rename' and 'copy' should appear in the context menu. Are those options available for you?

Rename is greyed out and is not selectable. Copy works but after copying the project , the Paste command is greyed out and not selectable. LIkewise, Ctl-C and Ctl-V do not work for projects. I am trying to do this inside the Project Explorer.

Appreciate your help in resolving this.

Sorry. It turns out the Project must be open before Rename and Copy work. I assumed that they should be closed before trying to work on them.

The right-click context menus items work fine for an open project.

Yes, the resources of a closed project is not accessible. It needs to be opened if you wish to do anything with it.

FYI, I usually do this job manually.
1. Copy the old project to another location and edit these files: .project .cproject .ccproject.
2. Replace the old project name "text" with new one in these three files.
3. Then, import the new project to CCS.
