Execution after a "Reset CPU" in CCS

Hi,

I want to know from where the execution begins when we do a "Reset CPU' in CCS. I wonder whether it goes to Reset Vector location or from code start location? Does it execute the boot rom code to get the boot mode?Is it equivalent to power or warm reset?if not,how different it is?Please explain in detail.Also explain whether it is CCS version and/or targer dependent?

Yes, it can be very target dependent. Hence I will ask - what exact target are you using? And with which debug probe?

I am using two types of targets - TMS320F28335 and F28M36 ,and am debugging through ccsv6.0

For 28x, when you do a reset, I believe the PC is set to the boot ROM code.
