CCSv4.1.2.00027
IPC 1.20.0.23
BIOS 6.21.3.21
CGT 6.1.15
I was working on my project and changed a configuration project from RTSC debug to whole_program. CCSv4 shut down when I tried to do a build. The window popped up saying it saved the workspace.
Started CCSv4 and got an exception as show in this document
So I shut down CCSv4.
Started it up again and most of my C/C++ projects are gone. Perspective's I setup are gone. Fonts defaulted back to 10. Basically my whole GUI setup for C/C++ and Debug is gone.
Is there a way to backup workspaces? Or save them without having to close CCSv4? (or even better, how about a feature where they can be recovered)
Eddie,
There are a couple ways I can think of to backup workspaces. One of course is to copy the folder. The other may be more what you are looking for. If you go to File->Export you can export your preferences to a file, and then similarly import them from a file. When in the export dialog expand General and select preferences.

John
