compiling asm file in ccs projects based on "C" files

hello ,

I have a ccs v5 projects with "C" files .

I added an .asm file to the project and compile it but the function in it is not recognized by the linker ,

and it does not apear in the map file also , so it apears as an unresolved one .

What do i have to do so the function in this file would be recognized .

The file i added is DSPF_sp_biquad.asm .

I presume there is a function implemented in the assembly file. Do you call this function from C code?

hello George ,

The problem was solved .

It seems that when calling the function from "C" file we have to add underscore '_' to

at the begining of the function name .

You must be building with the older COFF ABI. When you use the newer EABI, that underscore is not needed; function names are written the same way in both C and assembly.
